On Saturday night, after a late dinner at Veranda on Highland, I snapped a picture of the moon at about 9:30 pm. The moon was slightly more than a half moon; this phase is called "waxing gibbous." I took this photo through a tree, and I'm a bit surprised you can't see the branches! The moon almost looks like a full moon, but that's just the haze in the air making the moon glow a bit.
