Last night, I walked all around my neighborhood, but I could not see the moon! The sky was clear and I could see the stars, but I suspect the moon was just too low on the horizon for me to see. Had I been able to find it, I would have seen a waning gibbous.

Saturday was my friend's wedding day!  Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and cloudy; I was unable to see the moon, but based on the previous night, I can predict that it was waning gibbous.  In the next few days, I should see a quarter moon!

On Friday night, I took a picture of the moon from Pensacola, Florida.  The skies were cloudy, but I was able to get a picture of the moon. It was bright and the phase was waning gibbous, although it still appears to be full in the photo.

On Thursday, I forgot to look at the moon! I rushed home after class to throw my bags in the car and head for the beach for my friend's wedding and in all the chaos, I forgot to snap a picture of the moon! Based on the previous night, I can predict that the phase was a full moon.

The moon last night was almost in the complete full moon phase (waxing gibbous)! It was super bright and the picture looks like it's a full moon. Tonight should be a true full moon and I will be snapping a picture before jumping in the car to head to the beach; my best friend is getting married Saturday!

I just got out of class and looked up at the moon; it is almost a full moon!  The phase it is currently in is still waxing gibbous.  The sky is clear tonight, but I couldn't see stars from where I stood beneath the Education Building.  I predict that tomorrow night I will see a full moon!

Yesterday, I got a picture of the moon both during daylight (6:00pm) and at night (7:30pm).  The phase is a waxing gibbous and in a couple of days, it will be a full moon! At 6:00pm there were a good number of clouds in the sky, which we determined were probably stratus clouds, but the moon was still visible.
